Protect and Pamper Your Baby With a Baby Floor Mat

!±8± Protect and Pamper Your Baby With a Baby Floor Mat

Babies are not only prone to sickness and infection but they can have weaker immune systems to fight these health hazards. The floor of your home or the nursery can be crawling with millions of invisible germs that might make their way into the bodies of babies. This is why you should protect the little ones by using a baby floor mat.

For you and for the baby

Buying a good baby floor mat can be beneficial for both you and the baby. If your baby is playing on the floor, you can go about your work without worrying that he's coming into contact with the dirty particles on the floor. If he's eating on top of the mat, it will be much easier for you to clean the spills and slop since most baby mats are waterproof and easy to wipe.

Your baby will also be happy because he will be more comfortable on the soft mats, instead of sitting on the hard and cold floor.

Buying a baby floor mat

When buying a mat for your baby, there are several factors to consider--such as the time you have for cleaning. Baby mats are available in different materials like rubber, rattan or cotton fabric. Try to consider which one is the easiest to clean if you don't have much time to spare.

As much as possible, refrain from buying a mat that's much too small-babies tend to move around so you should cover as much floor space as possible.

Many baby mats also come in colorful designs-some with alphabets and numbers to combine fun and education. Pick the best one and you can watch your baby have fun in his own safe space.

Winalite Review - The Love Moon Sanitary Napkin Home Business

!±8± Winalite Review - The Love Moon Sanitary Napkin Home Business

"Technology Creates Love". Winalite, started in 2007 in China, works by this principle. Their key product, love moon sanitary napkin is a blend of technology and thoughtfulness to deliver to women just what they want. Winalite is a network marketing company that has, in the course of three years expanded to reach international markets. Let's find out what's behind this growth and see if this business is as sturdy in the long run as it is now.

Products

Winalite sells women's hygiene products, shampoos, cell phones and baby diapers. The Love Moon sanitary napkin is the flagship product of this company. The company has two huge state-of art manufacturing units in Guangdong and Chongqing.

Love Moon - Anion Technology

Love moon sanitary napkins have an edge over competing products because of their anion padding. This negative ion technology is said to help prevent diseases and offer several health benefits to users. The company claims that regular usage of these sanitary napkins result in relief from lethargy, migraines, stress and infections.

The Company

Winalite was founded by Mr ChenHuai De in January, 2007 in China. The company gained popularity in a short span of two years because of its key product, Love Moon. Now the products are sold by distributors in several countries such as US, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan and Hong Kong etc. The company has more than 500,000 distributors worldwide and the business has almost reached its billion dollars milestone in US alone.

The Business

Distributors can choose from four entry levels - Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Income is in the form of commissions, sponsorship bonus, multiplier bonus and leadership matching bonus. Apart from money, achievers get car incentives and family holiday packages.

The company expects a tremendous increase in demand for sanitary products in the coming years. This trillion dollar wave is said to have created the "tsunami of business opportunities". Is this really a tsunami or just a tide of false expectations? Let's find out.

Pros of Winalite Pro

- The products are needed on a regular basis; that means regular income for reps.

- The product demo alone is enough to sell the product. This product has a clear edge over competing products; it's unique and has a patent to protect its individuality.

Problems of the Business

- The product is women oriented. It might be difficult to sell face to face.

- There's too much hype over the anion element. In a bid to generate income, some reps have assigned miracle-healing powers to these anion strips.

- Approaching friends or relatives with a plan to sell them your products is not going to fetch you enough income or take you anywhere near the car and holiday incentives.

- The pay out structure of the business is geared towards high volume sales and large teams. The standard training provided does NOT lend itself to high volume sales through friends and family. Reps looking for long term incomes to replace their current incomes have a low probability of ever meeting their own expectations due to the limited training Winalite provides to reps on HOW to get more sales and recruits more reps.

Competitors

This field has well recognized brands such as Always and Stayfree. Customers who're comfortable with these brands wouldn't like to move over to another brand just because a distributor claims it's better.

Brand affiliation is a touchy subject to women and their personal feminine products. The stiff competition from Kortex, O.B., Playtex, Tampax, Seventh Generation, and Pearl are just a few companies in this competitive space. Then there is the difference from sanitary napkins to using other products like tampons, menstrual cups, cloth menstral pads, and diaphrams.

Winning With Winalite

Winalite seems to be a decent business to take up. However, if you want to enjoy the full benefit of what the business has to offer, you need to be proactive about marketing your products. You'd get much better response when you promote your products through a media like the internet than when you meet people individually. This way you get to convey your product information to many people at a time; this beats one to one marketing.

How to Make Your Home Or School More Eco-Friendly

!±8± How to Make Your Home Or School More Eco-Friendly

Here are Eleven Tips to Make your Home or School Greener:

Switch to Non-Toxic Cleaning Products
Cleaning your home can be harmful to your health. Many common household cleaners contain toxic solvents, fragrances, disinfectants, and other ingredients that can pollute the air and cause respiratory, skin, and other reactions. You can use cleaning products that are non-toxic like Seventh Generation, Method, or even Clorox has a new green line on the market, to maintain your school or home. You can also make your own cleaning supplies with simple ingredients such as baking soda, soap, and vinegar, they are cheap and easy, and they really work.

Organic paint
Indoor air is three times more polluted than outdoor air, and according to the EPA, is considered to be one of the top five hazards to human health. Paints and finishes are among the leading causes of death.

Paints and finishes release low level toxic emissions into the air for years after application. The source of these toxins is a variety of VOC's (Volatile Organic Compounds) which, until recently, were essential to the performance of the paint. Benjamin Moore has a new collection of eco-friendly paint called "Aura" which has very low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds). A wide variety of colors are available.

Light Bulbs
Save energy by replacing your standard incandescent bulbs with compact fluorescent bulbs, which lasts about ten times longer and use about one to two-thirds less energy.

Air Conditioning
You can install the comfortmaker HV/AC system R410A which has a non-ozone depleting gas.

Buy Furniture Made from Recyclable Material
Purchase furniture and classroom materials from a manufacturer that produces furniture with recycled materials. If tables and chairs are made from wood that is harvested from healthy forests and done in an environmentally friendly and sustainable matter, then your classroom will reflect a "green environment." There is a wonderful variety of items on-line. The internet is a wonderful tool for research!

Your Bathrooms
Use low-flow faucets, showerheads, and toilets. Did you know that each time a toilet is flushed, it uses five to seven gallons of water? If you can't afford to buy a low flush toilet, try putting a plastic bottle in your toilet tank. You can save one or two gallons per flush. Use a plastic juice bottle, or laundry soap bottle, and soak off the label. Fill the bottle with water, put on the cap, and place it in the tank. Be careful that the bottle doesn't interfere with the flushing mechanism.

New Flooring
Floors can be made with bamboo or cork which is a softer material. There is no question that bamboo is a renewable resource- it is a grass and grows very quickly. Where oak takes 120 years to grow to maturity, bamboo can be harvested in three years.

Switch to Recycled Toilet Paper and Paper Towels
Kids are always spilling juice, but did you know that if every household in the U.S. replaced just one roll of 180 sheet virgin fiber paper towels with 100-percent recycled paper towels, we could save: 1.4 million tees, 3,7 million cubic feet of landfill space, and 526 million gallons of water, and prevent 89,400 pounds of pollution. Several companies make paper towels from 100 percent recycled paper.

Diaper Duty
Consider using cloth diapers. To sign up for a diaper service to do the dirty work, check out the National Association of Diaper Services for more information.

School Lunches Make-Over
Reuse containers and reduce waste. Did you know that one kid's average school lunch generates 67 pounds of garbage over a year: There are lots of ways you can cut back on lunch waste (and save money). When you go to the grocery store, buy food in bulk rather than single serving packages. Don't use plastic sandwich bags, instead use reusable containers.

Buy Organic Foods
For lunch or snacks buy foods that are organic, locally grown, and in season. Food that travels great distances takes a lot more packaging and refrigeration than food bought near where it grows. No time to cook?

We can start teaching children at home and at schools around the country how to help our planet survive. Several cultures teach children to respect the planet from birth, but in our fast paced society we've become far removed from where our food comes from, and the importance of recycling. You can add recycling bins in the classrooms and children get involved in the recycling process. Teachers ask questions like: "What do you think will happen to these objects you have put in the trash?" Parents at home can go also go through recycling process with their children. Kids are remarkable sponges for information. They have curious minds, and limitless amounts of energy. Children can actually take a proactive part in saving the environment.

8 Fun Eco-Friendly Activities for Kids:

Cooking with Children
Involve your kids with meal preparation. Teach them about genuine organic food.

Start a Compost
Show kids that when they have finished their fruit and vegetables, there are parts than can be composted. Involve your children in composting food scraps, coffee grounds, etc. Get them used to seeing that food waste is not garbage, but rather something that can be turned into soil to grow more food.

Paper Reduction
Use old paper, newspapers, magazines, cardboard boxes, and paper bags for arts and crafts projects. Be thrifty with paper. Did you know every year; Americans throw away enough writing paper to build a wall 12 feet high, stretching from Los Angeles to New York City? Whenever possible, make two-sided copies.

Going Outside
Taking a walk through the park and woods, or rowing a boat are all time-tested ways for kids to develop an appreciation for their place within nature.

Get to Know Your Neighbors
Learn names of bugs, critters, birds and trees. Use books to get to know the names of plant and animal life in your area then go out and explore with your children what you read about.

Adopt an Endangered Species
Have you taken a trip to the local zoo lately? Not only will your child learn about animals, but several zoos now display information about endangered species. Children and their families can actually help save some of these beautiful creatures from extinction by adopting them. Zoos like the world famous San Diego Zoo have programs like CRES (the San Diego Zoo's conservation research arm). They work to protect endangered species like the Congo Gorilla, and Koala's. They have programs like "Adopt an Australian Iguana," where kids can learn about the species while helping to save them from extinction!

Visit Your Library
Borrowing from libraries, instead of buying personal books and movies, saves money and printing resources.

Pick Up Litter
Choose a park or a neighborhood in your community that needs cleaning; get together with your children to pick up the trash.

You can teach children about various subjects like the extinction of polar bears in the Arctic region, because glaciers are melting as a consequence of warmer temperatures. Two wonderful DVD's that teach everyone about our planet are the films "Planet Earth," and "Inconvenient Truth." Both films will help bring awareness to how beautiful and fragile our planet is, and how we can make the effort to preserve it. Yes global warming is real, but parents incorporating an eco-friendly lifestyle at home can be an example to their children, and in some cases it's the children that end up teaching their parents about the environment.
